LS - Phevedrian Depths

's Lancaster the Ghost Detective has been in full swing for some time, and now his spinoff series, Lance Starcaster: Space Dude is--as some have put it--growing out of control. To help it grow even more out of control, he asked his devwatchers to do fanart. And so, here is some of mine. I hope he doesn't mind me making random stuff up. I was stirred, for once, to create a convincing location. So yeah, this is all me and my unofficial rambling.



These massive canyons on the arid planet of Phevedria were once the home to an ancient and enigmatic civilization. No one knows who they were, or what they were doing. But we do know that they aren't there now.
Cultural anthropologists have theorized that the eccentric Phevedrian race was actually exterminated during a single catastrophic event. No one knows for sure what happened, but most specialists agree it was probably something pretty stupid, and the Phevedrians most likely had a big laugh over it as they disappeared from existence.

Rising temperatures and a corrosive hydrosphere in Phevedria's distant past are responsible for most of the planet's Geological oddities, including the dry lakebed and teetering cliffs seen here.
