O lawd, have you seen 's new project, GHOST SQUAD? It's Lancaster as a gritty film noir detective drama! OMG! And that's why I was inspired to do this silly thing.

With the advent of talking pictures in the late 1920s, vaudeville stage acts became something of an obsolete novelty. Most acts disbanded, while others, like The Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, and W.C. Fields, made the migration to more lucrative cinema careers. But a few of the more steadfast (and often more risque) performers, unwilling to part with the stage, found their niche in burlesque houses, jazz clubs, and radio.

It's my Lula and 's Melody as whacky jazz singing vaudeville gypsies. My goodness. Maybe they're also undercover spies or something. That would be pretty cool.
