It's called twelve hours of my LIFE!!

I'm gonna guess that this CG took me between 10 and 12 hours in Photoshop 5. I like it, and I think it was totally worth it, but damn, GET IT AWAY FROM ME. Thank you. :3

I wanted her eyes to be two different colors, but frankly, I feel more like sticking my fingers in the ceiling fan than doing anything more to this picture right now.




notes and stuff:

Myst and D'ni and all that were created by the folks at Cyan for our big joy. The KI was modeled after the KI in Uru. Her badge was based on the crest on Aitrus' map (I assume it is the crest of the Guild of Surveyors. This picture assumes all sorts of things about D'ni culture which are probably way wrong... but hey, that's fanart for you. :3)

colored this, too, by the way. Her version came out way faster. As in, a week faster. @_@ It's in my favs right now if you wanna check it out.
I'm posting the lineart up tomorrow, in case any of you guys want to practice coloring, or in case any of you is some kind of CG masochist.
